Norm Clarke Walk

Is a lane located in Central Rosebud that was in dire need of an upgrade. The lane was full of graffiti and vandalism and presented somewhat of a security problem when using it, especially at night.

Maw Civil through liaison with the council concreted the laneway using a ‘pebble beach’ aggregate mix intermixed with shot blast concreting pavers. The fence was upgraded to a spotted gum slat fence with wooden chairs and benches constructed along its length. Trees were planted and security lighting installed.

The graffiti problem was alleviated by the installation of a full-length mural, created by local artists. This has not only stopped the graffiti artists in their tracks (as they respect it) but created an area where the locals can sit and relax. If you are in the area, go and check it out.
